Roul was pacing in the forest. He was wanting to start a fight again with the leader; he had been thinking about it all day. Roul's wounds had just healed from the last fight with her but this didn't stop him, he was proud of his scars. The red howled in aggitation. He didn't know how long he could stand being second-in-command.

Walking forward blue barked "So are you still sick of being left in the dust? or have you accepted that you are better than most in the pack?". Getting ready for blows, she sat back. Her wounds had barely healed and still hurt her. But she wont let this wolf bring her down. "Or are you still to dumb to understand what Im saying?" {{too harsh?}}

Roul growled and ran at her yelling, "Because, I should be better than ALL the wolves, not MOST." He was furious and she had just pushed his buttons to much. Roul leaped on the leader with his growl echoing through the trees.

"I see so your still blind to your imperfections" she barked letting him pin her down.
Then spoke"To think to think," she had felt this pain before but never mixed with the anger and the....Love."You could of been better then all of the wolves, IF you would of just hurried," she whined. She had opened a wound of her own.
She didn't even try to wiggle out. She thought to herself... I couldn't careless If I died at this minute.
Blue then look straight into Roul's eyes was there any hope of anything in there. Was it just a empty hole only filled with hatred and disappointment? She whimpered staring at them. Those used to be the ones she desired, need and wanted. But now they were only feared.
{{she secretly used to like roul and wanted him as her mate but he didn't show up at the love valley OK with you?}}

He noticed that she hadn't attacked him back and a strange look came over his face. It took a minute for what she said to process but he realized that there was more to her than just being the leader in a position above him. He glared at her and lashed his tail. "Aaahh," he grunted in frustration. "You silly females don't make any sence to me. One minute your ready to fight and the next you act completly different." He jumped off of her and paced a couple times in front of her. Roul sat down and spoke with a bit of a scratchy voice, "Didn't I tell you why I didn't show up?" He had told her so many times in his thoughts that he couldn't remember if he had accually said it out loud.

"No.... you never cared..." she barked letting her voice trail. Why had he let her go? IF he really wanted to kill her he would of. She then sat up. "So... you didnt kill me why?" she lowered her voice.

"I did care," he said in an almost silent whisper, but he spoke loud enough for her to hear. "I just didn't know what to say, or how to tell you. I..." He broke his words off. Roul turned and started to walk away. He wasn't good with telling others how he felt, especially this time.

He stopped and turned around. He instantly looked into her eyes with so many mixed emotions. "I...I was scared," he whispered. "This is something all new to me and I'm not used to anybody caring about me. My parents never cared, nor my sister. I don't know what you see in me. All I can do is fight and hunt, I can't show love or compassion. I was more curious about you than anything; I don't know how such feelings could exist for another being." This was the most that had ever said about his feelings before. Roul had never even said 'love' to his family. It was still all new to him.

Blue was speechless. "If you werent compassionate then why would you tell me that," she then continued to speak "why would you tell the wolf you nevered loved," her voice then broke. She couldnt look at his stare any longer.

Roul shook his head, "Because, I"m just that confused. You have to realize that I am still learning about this. I pick things up from what I see around me. I have never seen these 'feelings' before until just recently. I saw wolves from other packs together. And it looked like they cared for each other a whole lot." He was just to confused. He couldn't talk any longer. Roul once again turned away, but this time he ran off. He would rather be angry at her. He decided to take his confusion and turn it into anger. Roul started tearing the bark off a tree when he stopped.

Blue didnt try to follow him, she didnt have the strenght. What was going on? She limped to the nearest brush/ trees area and cryed. She never cried but it just felt like she had to. She wasnt a strong wolf anymore. She felt like a sick small pup. She let out a lonnggg sloow sadd howl. She didnt stop until she ws out of breath

Roul heard her sad howl and couldn't help but howl back. It was partially his instinct but partially his feeling for her. Maybe he was just hiding the way he felt. No...Roul could never love...or could he. It was to confusing. Roul ran off to the crystal lake and got a drink. He walked into the water up to almost his chin. The wolf dipped his head under the water and grabbed a fish. He took it out of the water and decided that he was being stupid. Roul walked back to the alpha den and set the fish down. He knew that she would find it eventually and also knew that she would smell his scent on it. The red wolf turned tail and went back to the lake to think.

Blue heard the howl she felt slightly better. Blue talked to herself the whole way to her den, "Why did I tell him? Why am I acting so stupid?". She saw the fish before she smelt it. Thats werid she thought one i always smell things and two who put it? Then she smelt roul. The red wolf must of put it there.

Roul was moping around at the lake. He felt like the biggest dunderhead alive. The wolf looked up at the moon as he was laying down and felt so alone. He had never felt this alone before, and it was all his fault. If he hadn't have said such things then he could be the happiest wolf around.
